Qatar Physics Society membership is open for all. There are three main membership categories and three sub categories for individual members. Please check which category applies to you and fill in the relevant application form and submit.
The membership application is subject to approval by the membership committee which then sends a list for final approval by Executive Committee. You will receive a response to your application by email.

Qatar Physics Society Individual Member Application

This category is open to individuals who are physicists, physics professionals or students. Members will be involved in the society’s activities and policy.

 

There are three subcategories:

Member

Available for all physics professionals in Qatar and abroad.

Senior Member

Available for physics professionals over 60 who are retired if they prefer a reduced membership fee. You may choose to stay as Member even if you are over 60.

Student Member

Available for students at schools and undergraduate and postgraduate degrees with nominal fees.

Qatar Physics Society Associate Member Application

Open for non-physicist individuals to join the society as associate members. Associate members contribute to the development of the society’s activities.

Qatar Physics Society Corporate Member Application

Any corporation or firm that supplies a product or service to physicists, or that uses physical sciences to produce products and offer services, is invited to apply for Corporate Membership. Corporate Membership of QPS assists an organization to build important connections to Qatar physics community. This is facilitated through QPS website, participation in joint industry-academic working groups, and other QPS initiatives.

Corporate Membership is open to organizations such as research centers and institutions, schools and universities, industrial partners, publishers, and indeed any organization supporting or interested in physics.

Corporate members make a donation to the society to become members.
